Openaccess | View | On January 9, 1973 a meeting was held to nominate a candidate for Representative to the Legislature caused by the resignation of Allen J. Oulette of Van Buren. The candidate so chosen at the meeting did not accept the nomination and the Committee has requested that they be allowed to conduct another meeting- I designate Friday, January 12, 1973 as the date upon which the Republican Town Committees of Stockholm and Van Buren and the Plantations of Caswell, Cyr and Hamlin as that date.
